The Migos vs Fashion Styling Brand Luka Lorena (from a fashion stylist perspective)

On our debut episode of Dear Stylists: Beyond the Showroom, we spoke with Dallas Fashion Stylist Nancy O (@itsnancyo). This episode breaks down the case of Fashion Styling Brand Luka Lorena vs rap group The Migos.

According to " Stylist company Luka Lorena has included Offset in an ongoing lawsuit against Takeoff, Quavo and manager Daniel Zook over Migos allegedly not paying for almost $80,000 worth of designer clothing. Lorena first filed suit against Takeoff (real name Kirshnik Ball) and Quavo (Quavious Marshall) in March, alleging breach of contract, conversion and conspiracy to convert property."

As a fashion stylist, reading this made me feel uneasy for many reasons. There was so many holes in this, I couldn't quite figure out how this even happened. Under no circumstances would I ever lend $80,000 in clothing to any entity regardless of status or popularity without the proper paperwork and insurance.

Tune in below to find out more about this case and how you can avoid client theft as a fashion stylist.
